Bay Ltd. (Berry Fabricators) began operations in 1969 as an ASME Section 8 Division One pressure vessel shop, and in 1997 achieved Division Two certification. Since its inception, Berry Fabricators has continuously increased in size and capabilities and currently occupies over 200,000 square feet of shop space.

PIPE FABRICATION
Piping and Steel
Bay Ltd. operates numerous structural steel and piping shops in its facilities throughout the Gulf Coast. All shops feature automated plate cutting, pipe profiling, rolling and welding capabilities and onsite QA testing.
The Corpus Christi, Texas pipe fabrication shop has equipment to effectively and efficiently handle major pipe spooling projects. Bay has a 48 inch Vernon pipe profiler and a full range of welding, including MIG/TIG welding capability, forty 200 to 600 amp welding machines, plus four submerged arc machines, four 5 ton overhead cranes, eight 1 ton jib cranes to move the pipe to one of the six fabrication tables. The company has recently installed a new Rotoweld CNC pipe welding station that is the newest technology insuring improved quality and excellent productivity. On many of Bay's module projects, the pipe fabrication shop supports the module assembly occurring in the adjacent assembly building.

Bay Ltd. has extensive experience in the fabrication and assembly of modular pipe rack systems and process units. Modular units have been built for clients in the oil and natural gas production, chemical manufacturing, and refining industries. Bay has more than 100 acres of yard fabrication property and 200,000 square feet of shop space available for modular fabrication. Modular systems and packages have ranged from a single skid-mounted unit to complete production packages and process units with loadout weights in excess of 5,000 tons.
Shop fabrication facilities in Corpus Christi, Texas, Morgan City, and Belle Chasse, Louisiana, and the Port of Tampico, Mexico have deep water access, allowing Bay to load and ship large and small modular units to domestic and international destinations.
